Kronenbourg. Le Roi du French Lager since 1664. Fabrique from distinctive ""Strisselspalt"" aromatic hops du Alsace in le north of France - the 'caviar of hops,' they are called. And the beer? It brings a certain je ne sais quoi to the table, non? Oui, my French needs some practice. Learning takes patience and time, which is what the famed house of Kronenbourg has poured into making this pristine lager. They've been perfecting the recipe since Master Brewer Geronimus Hatt started up the Canon Brewery in the Place du Corbeau in Strasbourg in 1664.
History and French... this is starting to sound tres serious! But truly this IS a historic moment. Kronenbourg debuts today as the very first beer we've showcased on the 'Fo.
